Bunny Bags

Are you looking for an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic Easter baskets? I've got you covered friends. This is super easy and can be easily recycled once the chocolate is gone and the kids no longer care that you have put effort into them enjoying themselves.

You could even gather the kiddos to create these bags prior to an egg hunt!

These bags require minimal materials and minimal skill! Surely that feels like a win! Let's get started!

Gather:

*Brown bags

*Sharpie or black marker

*Scissors

*Kwik sticks in white and pink

*Ribbon

*Optional: Newspaper for grass

Create:

1. Push the sides of the bag out and crease. Cut four inches down, about 1.5 inches in from the outside crease, round the top corner to form the ear.

2.Reshape bag back to it's original form. Paint the edges and outside of ears white. Draw large circles for cheeks. Draw on face and feet with black marker.

3. Once the paint has dried, open the bag and paint the inside of the ears pink.

4. Punch a hole in each ear with a hole punch and string ribbon through.

To make this activity even more environmentally friendly, omit that plastic green grass and cut up newspaper! It works extremely well AND looks adorable! You could even paint it green first to give you a more grass like appearance. So many options!

Happy Easter Friends!
